Curacao recycling

Foreword: Having been involved with Green activities before, such as plastic recycling, clean up actions, wildlife preservation and more, I came to realize that more needs to be done and more can be done.

In the words of the president of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development: “Politicians are too busy to get reelected on the short term, that they lack the vision and focus for long term solutions”. Therefore I decided to take action into my own hands. The planet can not longer support the pressure we are putting on it with our reckless consumption, pollution and over population. We can not longer wait for the governments to take action. Why wait when we can start doing something ourselves?.

VisionThere is a notion of urgency in the entire world about doing more for the environment. Although this urgency is not high on Curaçao, there is however a big group that would like to do more. They might need some guidance on how as their core business is usually too far from the subject and Green Force is ready to help.

Through our Recycling Bin rental or Recycling Bin sponsoring programs the private sector can now contribute with the environment and the community education. Awareness is one of the first steps to address the problems and Green Force is able to help passing the necessary information to our companies/youth with its educational speeches.

Mission: Through the collecting, processing and recycling of financially viable waste, Green Force and its allies can become a help for the environment and contribute to the reduction of global warming

Through these processes we will help to educate the youth, the community and the businesses in the different recycling possibilities available on the island. Through recycling jobs are created and we will be greening the island. Furthermore we would like to become a trustworthy spokes partner of all entities that work for a better and cleaner environment for all of us. Reduce waste through recycling.

A strong involvement from the private sector is needed.
